YOGA THERAPY FOR ANXIETY
Anxiety is one of the most common issues in the U.S. Every year 40 million American adults develop some form of anxiety. The condition is more common in women but many adults experience anxiety during their lifetime. Nearly 1 in 3 teens also have anxiety and research indicates that number is rising.
There are multiple factors that contribute to anxiety. Anxiety symptoms can emerge as a result of adverse childhood experiences as well as parenting styles, psychosocial stressors, or physical and emotional trauma.
Yoga Therapy holds the key to get to the root of anxiety. This series will address the anxiety spectrum and the anxiety “loop”. You will begin to identify where the anxiety actually initiates (HINT: It’s not in the mind!) and learn how to deal with it in a holistic and effective manner.)
