Healing with Yoga Therapy
Feel your way through. Increase your resilience.
Most of us develop long-standing physiological patterns—habitual muscle tension, shallow breathing, heightened threat sensitivity—that arise from years of stress and repeated emotional experience. These patterns live in the body’s autonomic and interoceptive systems. “Talking it out” can clarify what’s happening, but it doesn’t always shift the physiology that keeps those patterns running.
This practice uses interoceptive exposure: structured, supportive attention to internal sensations that helps retrain the brain’s threat responses. By meeting sensations directly—rather than avoiding or overriding them—you update old prediction loops and reduce the reactivity that once felt overwhelming.
Through slow, intentional movement, regulated breathwork, meditation, and steady guidance, you’ll work with the physiological signatures of stress: reducing defensive activation, increasing autonomic flexibility, and strengthening the capacity to stay present with difficult states. As these patterns recalibrate, clarity, ease, and emotional range become more available.
A mindful, embodied process of shifting from constrained and reactive to grounded and responsive.
